It is expected that in September 2007 the Thuringowa Bulldogs will move into their new home, that being the "Riverway Stadium" The Riverway Stadium is Stage Two of the City of Thuringowa ambitious Riverway Project.
When fully operational, the Riverway Stadium will have local AFL matches every weekend throughout the season, and plans are in place to attract partnerships with state and national organisation to attract high level games.
The Stadium meets international standards for both AFL and cricket, with facilities including kitchen, drug testing and change rooms, plus sport specific equipment including a scoreboard.
The City of Thuringowa Council has worked closely with the Thuringowa Bulldogs during the planning and development of Riverway Stadium and the Club is extremely excited about the facility and the possibilities it opens up for the region.
The $16.5 million Riverway Stadium caters for 10,000 spectators, 1,000 in grandstand seating and a further 9,000 on the grassed berms surrounding the oval.
The Riverway Stadium will provide residents and the visitors to Thuringowa with a state of the art facility that endorses the culture of sport in the region
